    • Provide educational assistance for current LVTs working in emergency/24 hour care facilities and urgent care facilities seeking additional training in Veterinary Social Work (certificate programs)

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) training advocacy

    • Advocate for Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) training programs at the community college and vocational training levels to build a sustainable workforce in the CNY region

    • Advocate for Veterinary Technical Education Programs at the avocational/BOCES level

    • Educate regional High School Guidance Counselors and encourage students to explore careers in veterinary medicine
